What is LCP?
The Letter of Credentialing and Privileging (LCP) is issued by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. It is mandatory for any clinic legally offering aesthetic procedures — Botox, fillers, lasers, chemical peels, and more. Clinics without a valid LCP are operating outside the law.
What is MMC Registration?
The Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) registers and licenses all medical doctors in Malaysia. An MMC number confirms a doctor is legally qualified and authorised to practise. Every doctor performing aesthetic treatments must hold active MMC registration.
